Occupation - Definition

  1.   An activity that serves as one's regular source of livelihood; a vocation.
  2. An activity engaged in especially as a means of passing time; an avocation.

The occupation trait is not so tightly coupled to the other culture traits. Some occupations are passed down by tradition while others are earned by hard work.

The writer in this picture is the author of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Richard Bach. He was at one of the airshow signing books for people who also love to fly.

My mom is a software engineer for GE who writes programs to help Railroad Dispatchers do their job more safely.

On some weekends, I teach robotics and programming to kids and adults. Its not really an occupation, its more a hobby!
